About Me

My beginning as a legally recognized individual occurred on March 11, 1980 in St. Philomena Catholic Hospital, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria from a family of Seven (six boys and a girl). Of course I can't consciously remember anything from the first two or three years of my life after birth. (And, also, one suspects, psychologically, that the earliest memories have become "memories of memories" and are comparable to traditional folk tales passed on by tellers and listeners from generation to generation.) But facts are available when direct memory fails for many circumstances.
My father, David Idehen was a civil engineer and had come to Benin City to work for the Government as a Civil Servant. He was originally from Esan South-west, In Edo State and had obtained his B.Sc
My mother, originally Christiana Idehen was herself also born in Esan South-west. She had studied at the Annunciation grammar school and was a schoolteacher before her marriage, teaching English. But my mother's later life was considerably a Trader.
My secondary education was at Arewele high School (Now Western boys high School, Benin City, edo State. More To come. Its Still under Construction.
